My name is Moselle Anderson, but Mozie is how friends and family call me. My pottery journey began in January 2020 when I decided to register for a pottery class with the birthday money Grandma gave me. At first it was simply a curiosity or just trying to have a new hobby, but I quickly understood it was more than just a pass time. I developed a real affinity for pottery. Coming from a different professional background, the learning curve was steep at the beginning. However, with some good hours of practice I built a level of confidence that allowed me to create my first few pots. And now pottery is a way of life to me.
In the rest of my time, I'm a full-time barista, avid baker, enthusiastic cyclist, a Netflix champion, a board game challenger, and a novel consumer. One thing I love about pottery is the fact that it allows me to make mistakes and innovate from my own gaffes. Having the freedom to experience new techniques and ideas is key to developing my own style of work and solidifying my confidence. Welcome aboard my journey!
